Over already?

Summertime is nearly over, unofficially. It always goes too fast and winter lingers too long. This summer has been exceptional. I even had a summer romance, sort of. Alas, the hot embers have cooled down to smoking ash but I'm not sorry. It was wonderful and I have a new friend. Besides, I have hot fudgie memories to store away for the coming winter.
