I looked at the photographs of the Minneapolis bridge collapse with horror. Like a newsman said today, we all go over bridges during the course of days. It could have been our bridge.
Crossing bridges is one of my unreasonable fears. Right now it doesn't sound so unreasonable when it is reported that thousands of American bridges are deficient. This one collapsed even though it was given the thumbs up. Yeah, bridges, elevators and airplanes are on my list of things I rather not do. But in life there are many things we do that we rather not. That's where you put your faith in God and hope it's not your turn.
